2009 CHRISTIAN MINISTRY, MISSION AND SPIRITUAL FORMATION COURSE 

COURSE REQUIRMENTS

This course is in the style of being a disciple which means learning and action:

LEARNING

Complete the 10 week course of lectures (1st term Wednesday Nights)
Attend the 2 retreats later in the year
Read or listen to the prescribed books throughout the year
        ”The Purpose Driven Life”
        “The gospel of Matthew and John”
        “The book of Romans”
        “Victory over the Darkness” or “Transforming Grace”
        “The Divine Mentor”  or “Celebration of Discipline”
        “Next Generation Leader” or “Becoming a Contagious Christian”
        “The Pursuit of God” or “Absolute Surrender”    
(Write an A4 page book report on 2 of the above)

Listen to the recommended messages
Find and meet with a mentor at least 1/month

ACTION

l     Be involved in a ministry for a year
        -A recorded weekly reflection for your mentor
l     Begin a Diary recording prayers, reflections and God's will and movement to a deeper holiness.
l     Go on a short term mission trip
l     Develop your assignment from God in the form of Purpose, Values and Vision by 2009 end.
