1: Morning Family Service - 9:30am

Image

On Sunday mornings people of diverse backgrounds and ages meet for worship. You will find lots of families with young children ranging from newborn to teenagers, but a complete spectrum of ages is represented in this service. A self-serve creche is available for parents with babies which allows them to cater for the child's needs while not being isolated from the service.

Since the inception of the 4:00pm service, the tendency is for this service to cater particularly for families with babies and young children. During school terms, children participate with adults in the first section of worship but leave the auditorium to join their "Wildlife" groups. In the school holidays, older children are encouraged to stay in the entire service while a holiday program is provided for those who are younger.

2: Afternoon Family Service: 3:30pm
Our new family service is proving to be particularly popular with those families who have children spanning primary and secondary school ages. The "Wildlife" children's program is available and there's a Year 7-10 program operating concurrently with the worship service. It also suits shift workers who otherwise might find it difficult to attend a Sunday service. We are trusting that this will provide an appropriate time in the activities on a Sunday for those who live in the district to join us to worship God. From the Sunday following Easter 2010, we have made a slight change in starting time from 4:00pm to 3:30pm. This is to allow a little extra breathing space between the afternoon and the evening service.

3: Evening Youth Service - 6:30pm
From Sunday 2 August our evening service, which has a special focus on youth and young adults, moves to the starting time of 6:30pm. This does not mean that other age groups are excluded. In fact, you'll find a blend of all age groups in attendance, perhaps with the exception of the very youngest children. However, the focus may be felt musically and in the language and presentation of the message.
