Come down to youth on Friday nights, and experience a great night of community as we have dinner together served by the RPM Cafe. Dinner is $2 each week, so be sure to bring a few bucks so you can have dinner & a can or some snacks as well! We always need a few people to help out with cafe stuff, so if you would like to do anything whether it be cooking dinners for the youth on a friday, selling food at the cafe, cleaning up after dinner, or washing up, please talk to Steven Metcalfe or any of the other youth leaders! There are heaps of other great things available from the RPM Cafe through out the night as well... PLUNGE into a year of focussed biblical and spiritual engagement. PLUNGE is a journey of reality, faith and relationship – Our journey together involves learning, spiritual reflection, mission, worship, ministry, prayer and community. PLUNGE deeper into knowledge and experience of God, faith and life. PLUNGE deeper with understanding, skills and behaviour that will help negotiate life ahead with deep Christian conviction, confidence and competence. PLUNGE is designed for students between the ages of 18 and 23 who have either completed Year 12 (or interstate/international equivalent) or have equivalent life experience. During the course of the year you will have the opportunity to complete a Certificare IV in Christian Studies which will allow you to delve deeper into four areas of focussed learning: - Theology and the Bible
- Spiritual Formation
- Personal Development
- Engaging faith, engaging culture, engaging the planet
PLUNGE is about God and the Bible, you and the world you live in. You’ll look up, you’ll look in and you’ll look out. You’ll explore yourself, your city, and your world. PLUNGE is about learning, living, laughing and loving. Together. PLUNGE is going to stretch you, confound you, engage you and intrigue you. Your experiences and learning will raise a lot of questions and provide you with the space to consider and reflect. PLUNGE will help you to look. Deeper. PLUNGE offers you life and ministry experience, community engagement with issues that count, foundational bible training, the opportunity to complete a Certificate IV in Christian Studies, and so much more.
